Webelos Weekend, an annual event of Laurel Hills District, serves to introduce third and fourth year cub scouts to some of the exciting activites they might encounter when they 'bridge over' into the Boy Scout program. Again this year the activity was combined with our district's annual camporee held at Historic Hanna's Town.
Theme for the weekend was Colonial Life, so Scouts had opportunities to participate in activities such as Colonial Clothing Demonstration; Cannon & Musket Demonstration; Colonial Games; Tour of Hanna's Town Tavern; Court Reenactment & Candle Dipping and more. Visiting Webelos were able to participate
in Scout lead activities, and had the opportunity to meet Scout
troops and Scoutmasters within the Laurel Hills District. |
