Laurel Hills District annual Fall Camporee and AOL Weekend was held at the Westmoreland Community College Public Safety Training Center near Smithton, PA, September 12th to 14th. Program activities included: Stop the Bleed Training; Drones in the Fire Service; Vehicle Extraction Demo; K-9 Unit Demo; Fire Attack and Hose Demo; Hands on Fire Extinguisher Usage; PA State Fire Academy Opportunities; Fast Moving Water Risks; Archery Competition.

Participating Troops ran public safety related activities in their individual campsites. Troop 480's activity demonstrated how to make a temporary stretcher from a tarp and some poles, and gave participants an opportunity to run a stretcher race.

AOL Scouts (Cub Scouts who will potentially bridge into the Boy Scout Program this next year) visited the various troop sites to meet troop members and participate in their public safety activity. Visiting AOLs were invited to eat dinner with one of the troops and camp with them on Saturday night.
