The Scouts have voted and the votes have been tallied for the 2026 BSA Troop 480 High Adventure Expedition. 

Overwhelming, Troop 480 has selected a Sea Base St. Thomas Expedition for 2026. Reservations have now been made for 24 participants (Scouts and Adult Leaders - St. Thomas sailing as two crews of 12) for a 5 night, 6 day expedition with an arrival date of July 15, 2026. An additional day or two will be added for travel and sightseeing based on the trip budget. Every participant must be at least 13 years of age by their date of arrival at St. Thomas Sea Base. Every crew must have at least two adult leaders over the age of 21. Crews will fly into Cyril E. King (STT) Airport. Ground Transportation from Cyril E. King (STT) Airport to Sea Base (Sapphire Beach Resort Marina) will be provided by Franklin Connor. The projected fee, based on current airfare, is $2,800. 

Scouts and Adult Leaders intending to participate and to reserve their seat on a crew must complete and return the Reservation and Payment Commitment Form, with a non-refundable deposit of $150, to Crew Advisor, Mr. Hanawalt.
