Troop 480 visited the Pennsylvania State Police barricks in Greensburg on Wednesday evening, January 22nd. Trooper Tappe was our guide/host for the evening. The tour started with a classroom question and answer session. Then the group proceeded to visit the call/dispatch center, the major crime investigation unit, the room troopers use to document their cases after the fact (ie. "paperwork"). The tour finished with a visit to the maintenance garage and a small museum in the lobby of the barricks building. Thanks to Troop Committeeman Chad Stoup for arranging the visit. |
